Wd Elements Not Showing Up On Mac

Hello – last week my drive stopped showing up on my Mac, even in the Disk Utility it was not showing up. I did a test on a pc, and it tested fine. Now, the drive IS showing up through the disk utility on my mac, BUT it’s saying this disk is unreadable. I did the Data Lifeguard Diagnostics for Windows and it came out fine. I’ve attached the screen here that is showing up in my disc.
Besides, WD SmartWare supports NTFS and FAT32 file systems for Windows and HFS+ file system for Mac. If you have switched between Windows and Mac, no writable WD SmartWare partition found problem will also happen. Then, you still need to reformat the partition. But before you reformat it, please recover important files in advance.
If WD external hard drive shows unrecognized, go to drivers tab and delete/uninstall the driver; Then check out whether the external hard drive shows up in My Computer/My PC or not. If it doesn't show up, reboot or restart PC; If it shows up but disappears later, repeat above steps and go to Disk Management, change the drive letter of your WD.

I did the Data Lifeguard Diagnostics for Windows and it came out fine. I’ve attached the screen here that is showing up in my disc utility on my mac.

Not looking forward to spending $1000 on data recovery, especially since this drive is less than a year old!!!

Any advice is mucho appreciated.
